Frequently asked questions
What is Covalance?
Covalance is an AI workflow tool for small businesses. It takes work you already do by hand, such as answering enquiries, and turns it into a workflow where AI does the routine parts and you approve the rest.
Do I need technical skills?
No. If you can forward an email, you can use Covalance. There is no code and no wiring of triggers and actions.
Will the AI send emails without my approval?
No. In the beta, every reply waits for you to approve it. Later you will be able to move a step to Auto, but only you can make that change, and it is recorded.
Which email providers does it work with?
Any provider. You forward emails to your private Covalance address. Direct connections to Gmail and Microsoft 365 are coming soon.
What counts as an item?
An item is one piece of work going through a workflow, such as one incoming email. Your plan sets how many items you can run each month.
Is AI usage included in the price?
Yes, AI usage is included in every plan up to your monthly item allowance. You can still see what every step costs, so nothing is hidden.
Which AI models do you use?
Claude by Anthropic writes drafts, and fast decision models on Cloudflare sort and score your emails. Each step uses the model that fits the job.
Is my data safe?
Each business has its own isolated workspace. Your emails are never used to train AI models, and we never keep the content of prompts or replies in our logs.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Paid plans are billed monthly and you can cancel whenever you like. The Starter plan is free.
How do I join the beta?
